Breeding goals

We breed to improve… and there is quite a bit to improve.
We are not looking to breed pigs with lots of wrinkles, nor do we want to disregard the typical look of a Mastino. A MAN must be strong and bulky, but at the same time he must be able to absorb his daily walks or even a short distance beside a bicycle. Yes, you read correctly, a Mastino can run a short distance next to a bicycle.

We breed quality, not quantity. In general, breeding a Mastino, is challenging; particularly in Germany with so few breeders and therefore so little material to select from. To reach a certain standard, we have imported a number of dogs from its country of origin, Italy. We are planning to cover our dogs with leading foreign males that fulfil our demands. Since we are looking for quality, this is a time consuming project.

The breeding of Mastinos in Germany is at its early stages, but rapidly growing due to a number of dedicated breeders.
We carefully select our buyers. We insist on regular contact even after the sale. We are always available for the owners of our puppies and will happily support with advice when needed. After all, they are our puppies which we have raised with love and dedication.
